HOW TO GET TO BEL AMI?

Whether you're using your own vehicle, a taxi or a zem, we'll give you all the information you need to get to us.

BY PRIVATE TAXI

We work with an independent taxi driver.

To pick you up at Cotonou airport, the fare is 25000 CFA.

To pick you up in Ouidah, the fare is 10000 CFA (15000 CFA for Ouidah Plage)

WITH YOUR CAR

FROM COTONOU: At the Gbena crossroads in Ouidah, take the direction of the Ouidah district hospital (on the right if you are coming from Cotonou) then at the roundabout, the direction of Kpomassè.

Once in Kpomassè, turn right at the roundabout just after the road that leads to the town hall .

Follow the road until you reach a paved road. You are in Tokpa Domè.

Turn left, staying on the paved road, and go down to the lake.

Turn right under the coconut trees.

You have arrived!!

FROM GRAND POPO / COME: In Segbohouè, just after the market, take the road on your left. You are leaving the paved road (the road that goes towards Ouidah).

You'll travel along the lake for several kilometers. The track can be a bit rough when it's raining, but you'll pass through some pretty fishing villages.

Once you arrive on the paved road at Tokpa Domè (before that it's just a track), turn left and go down to the lake.

Turn right under the coconut trees.

You have arrived!!

EN ZEM (Motorcycle taxi)

YOU ARE COMING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT :

There is no shared taxi to get to the village. You will therefore have to take a zem.

YOU COME FROM COTONOU:

In OUIDAH, at the Gbena crossroads, you will find zems (motorcycle taxis) to take you to the village.

If you are coming from Cotonou by shared taxi, ask the driver, he knows this intersection well and will drop you off there.

YOU COME FROM GRAND POPO / COME:

In SEGBOHOUE (just after Comè) you will find zems after the market (which is located on the side of the road).

The fare for a single person varies from 1500 to 2000 CFA francs. If the driver quotes you a higher price and justifies it by saying it's a long distance, don't believe him.

Choose a zem driver who wears a burgundy/dark red shirt for the ride. He's a zem driver from the same district as Bel Ami. This ride will allow him to get home, and they know us well :)))
