I have been a guide for over 9 years and I do this job because I have a passion for meeting people, sharing knowledge, but also for my country, its rich and varied culture that I love to share.

I am a native of the territory, which I know perfectly well.

I was a guide at the Temple of Pythons in Ouidah for a long time and then I wanted to become self-employed so that I could diversify the tour offerings and offer the best of my country.

I adapt and respond to all requests and wishes because my goal is to satisfy visitors and make their stays extraordinary.

I can also organize guided tours of the cities of Abomey (royal temples), Allada, Ganvié, Grand Popo, etc.

Benin Differently was born from an obvious encounter.

Kader, from Benin, and Céline, a French woman living in Benin, met while working in tourism. It quickly became clear that they shared the same desire: to showcase Benin in a different way.

Together, they created the agency to offer authentic, surprising and deeply human experiences, far from the beaten track, and to offer each traveler a unique way to experience the country.

Sylvain is a tour guide and lecturer. Passionate about his country's history and ancestral traditions, he also organizes immersive trips.

He is a graduate of the African Heritage School (EPA), the World Tourism Organization and is a member of the collective of 54 professional guides in Benin.

An admiral stationed in Benin for the past three years, and affectionately known as "old man" here, I experience Benin to the fullest, a country that bears a striking resemblance to my distant Caribbean homeland. As a former secular scout and sports educator, I like to share, pass on knowledge, respect the environment and promote living well together.
